The wonderful world of Kelly

On my walk through the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Seattle last night I looked into the window of the cute boutique CakeSpy Shop, where I saw a few of my dear friend and crazy talented artist Kelly Brownlee’s paintings. I asked for permission to take a picture of the paintings to share them here with you. Aren’t they just adorable?

I met Kelly 5 or 6 years ago through Biznik and we’ve been in touch ever since. We’ve collaborated a few times on projects. She designed a bunch of stunning collections for MOGO and recently illustrated the artwork for a Swiss startup called unblu that I am designing for.

Make sure to take a look at Kelly’s website and her Etsy shop, you’re bound to be smitten!

MOMO, a Seattle favorite

MOMO, a cute gift store on 600 S. Jackson Street in Seattle is one of those little jewels in the International district. I can’t count on one hand how many things I bought there in the last few years. The owners pick an eclectic mix of local and Asian inspired modern fashion, accessories, home decor and greeting cards, all beautifully displayed in their space. I was very excited when they picked five of my boxed note card designs to sell in their store. If you’re thinking about buying a gift or a unique piece of clothing, go to MOMO. You’ll love what they sell!

Here you can check out their blog and “like” their facebook page!

Note Cards at Muse Coffee

To complement the ten screen prints of my July art show, Muse Coffee on Queen Anne in Seattle is now also selling blank note cards with matching designs. What a beautiful space to feature my art!
