Introducing my first line of rugs – Satori
I am thrilled to announce that my long time dream to design a line of rugs has become a reality. As of today, my first rug collection Satori is now available through Lindstrom Rugs, a rug company based in Los Angeles.
My collection consists of 8 rug designs in 4 featured colors. The rugs are hand woven in Nepal and are primarily sold to interior designers who can customize the rugs by choosing their own color schemes, size and materials.
Below are a few samples in various color schemes. You can see the entire collection at lindstromrugs.com/satori.html
This is the first of two collections. I am currently working on the second collection which is scheduled to launch on Mai 1st.

Product Photo Shoot : Pillows
Last Sunday I had 1/2 day with a professional photographer to get some lifestyle product shots of my pillows and note cards. Below is a preview of the Samsara pillow in it’s new environment. I love how crisp and clean it looks!

Stress Testing my new Pillow Design

Inspector Elmo was hard at work testing our new pillow design “Crossing Paths”. After hours of rigorous testing and several improvements he finally approved it. We made a total of 18 pillows from dark blue denim with gray screen printing on both sides.
Fruhstucksbrettchen – An Europan Breakfast Tradition
“Fruhstucksbrettchen” is a German word that translates to “breakfast boards”. In Europe, people use these 9″x5″ boards as a surface instead of plates to put butter and jam on their piece of breakfast rolls. The extremely durable melamin material withstands heat and scratches and makes these little boards useful multi-purpose kitchen accessories that can double purpose as cutting boards, hot plates or decorative platforms for cheese and other hors d’Ĺ“uvres. Starting in early 2010 we will be offering 4 styles to our line of “Stuff with Art on it!”. These boards are made in Germany.
